Surf for Keenan Foundation
Envision a world where all young people have the resources they need to thrive in recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Our mission is to provide the peer support and life skills to help people recover from substance use disorder and reach their full potential. This foundation was created in remembrance of Garrison Keenan Barrett, an incredible man who overcame so much.
3rd Annual Paddle Out

Promenade Park, Ventura CA
This is our 3rd annual Celebration of life paddle out for Garrison Keenan Barrett who we lost on March 30th, 2020. We will be handing out scholarships to deserving men who have been working hard on their recovery. We chose to have the event in September as is it overdose awareness month.
We will be shutting down the foundation after the event, so it would be wonderful if you could join us this one last time. All merchandise will be half off between now and the event.

Surf Therapy
at Redondo Beach
Surf Therapy takes place the last Sunday of each moth. . Meet us on the beach in front of Perry's Café and Beach Rental. We will have a large blue tent with a "Surf for Keenan" sign. All are welcome whether if it's your first time surfing, part of your daily routine, or don't surf at all. We will teach you the basics of surf if it's your first time. If you don't surf, we'll have coffee, so come hang out on the beach with new friends.
Bring water, a snack, surfboard, and a wetsuit or swimsuit depending on the weather. If you don't have a board or wetsuit, please contact Dive N' Surf at 310-372-8423 to rent equipment.
Unfortunately July + Aug 2023 will be our last Surf for therapy sessions.
